Facial Lotion SPF 15 is formulated using highly micronized Titanium Dioxide and the identical percentage of Glycolic Acid as contained in Jan Marini's regular Facial Lotion. Titanium Dioxide is known as a "physical block," meaning that unlike chemical agents, it deflects the sun's UV rays before they can penetrate the skin. Because of Titanium Dioxide's superior ability to give total protection, it has broad spectrum blocking capabilities that include UVA, UVB, UVC and infrared rays.
Facial Lotion SPF 15 provides excellent protection for those who have sensitivities to chemical sunscreens. The preparation is comprised of non-comedogenic ingredients. As with regular Bioglycolic Facial Lotion, it has a unique Phytoamine Biocomplex along with Hyaluronic Acid in order to significantly augment the skin's hydration level. Facial Lotion SPF 15 does not feel greasy or heavy, but leaves the skin with a silky smooth appearing texture.
